If you're in a hurry, here are the 5 steps you need to remember

  1. Choose an injection site:
    1. Stomach
    2. Upper arm outside
    3. Thigh (above knee)
  2. Pull off the cap on your injector pen
  3. Place the injector against your skin at the injection site
  4. Unlock the injector
  5. Press and hold the button on the injector pen for up to 10 seconds
