What is Blinding Disease/NAION?
"NAION" stands for Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
NAION is a condition characterized by vision loss due to lack of blood flow to the eyes.
While the root cause isn't quite known/exact, there are many paths and blood supply along with bodily reactions to drugs are prominent theories on causes โ even Sleep Apnea is cited as a potential cause.
